ALWAYS PRAYERS

I want to ask everyone who stops by today to please be in prayer. I am not sure what is going on at the office but prayer is needed.

I ask each and everyone to remember me today as well as my phamily.

I am praying and wake up in prayer and fall asleep at night in prayer. I see things in this world that would make me fearful if I did not have Christ as my center.

2 Chronicles 20:15 (New American Standard Bible)

Colorado Girls

"C" is for COLORADO!

Hurry over to Jenny's and visit all the cool Alphabe Thursday participates. I am posting about the letter "C". Oh I had some good thoughts cross my mind,  but Colorado, my home and birthplace won out over candy a favorite treat and "Can do" attittudes and l my chaotic life. Dogs everywhere underfoot. Housing woes.  Sick kid, busy job. The list goes on. Now before you tell me to have some cheese and "whine" just look at Colorado proud post!

I love where I love. I have always loved this state. I grew up in the Southern part of the state and as a kid I took a lot of flack from people teasing me about living in the city where the Colorado State Hospital resides. Today I realize what a remarkable place that hospital really is. Go here and you can learn more about this place that has provided quality mental health care since 1879!

I love my state for the four seasons that we experience. Here are some internet images of Western Colorado. If you like outdoor activities you are in the right place. Skiing, swimming, fun in the sun. We have a year round bevy of activities for every personality!

I love the weather. We have so many days of sunshine. We have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes, it will change."  I have seen sunshine,hail,thunder, lightening,rain and snow in a day! Seriously, not kidding!

We brag about about the high altitude here. If you can breathe here you can breathe anywhere! We have here some of the most beautiful mountain peaks and scenery anywhere.

If you live in Northglenn, Colorado currently my home, you will be able to walk, ride a bike or run on 28 miles of trails. Go here  to get the scoop!

Denver is ranked one of the heath conscience cities in America and sell less donuts here than anywhere. Amazing isn't it?

I love my birthplace and my home. If you have not been here please put Colorado on your bucket list. There is so much to see and do. I can not list it all here. But I do hope you enjoyed my mini tour of my state.

LOVE IS....

I am sure the creator of this sweet Love is....thought about my sweets and I when she created this precious post. We have never had a life plan. We have had to learn to live and work and do everything spontaneously. We never know what tomorrow brings. We work today and try not to worry about tomorrow. I think this fits us like a glove!

Tomorrow we get our flu shot courtesy of my sweets employer. Then I see the chiropractor about my left shoulder, Ouch! Tuesday and Friday are cross country. My Noelle is counting the days til they can move into their new place. They will be so far away though. Rebekah is working hard in Vegas with the competition. They want to win so badly. I just pray. Hannah is dealing with the mean girls at work because my sweet baby girl says "all the losers are working because all the good people went to Vegas". There are two girls who steal and it has been sad to see the old boss turn a blind eye. Thankfully they will have a new general manager and he will settle that mess when he returns from the competition. I am so thankful I raised honest hard working children. All of them have a good work ethic and my younger three balance work and college so beautifully. My little one is learning to be a good role model. They will lose so many runners next year, college. He will be a senior. Oh my does time fly!
