SONday A Favorite Day

 

I miss the days when Charlotte hosted "Spiritual Sunday". It gave me something to look forward to each week. But today, since she gave up her blog, I can do it!

This is a google images of a garage filled with "stuff". We have a similar garage. We are currently spending most free weekends in this garage. We are dirty and tired by day's end so wish us well as we continue our clean up and downsizing of un-necessary stuff!

Our son-in-law Zach whipped up a batch of steak fajitas tonight. This is a google images of chicken fajitas. We are going to try something new. Next Saturday evening we will do "Fajita Saturday with all of our kids except Hannah and Jake. We are saw they are so far away but we will think of them as we enjoy our dinner. Colton and his little phamily will join us too. So I am excited to see how it works. We hope we can do a SONday brunch at least once a month during the winter time.

Ha Ha Ha - sometime the weird things people say and do in stores is mind blowing! When I was a kid people said Snitches get Stitches! Today you can earn rewards by being a Narc!  I had an exam on Friday. The gal working with doing my testing before I saw the doctor and the young doctor himself, were both super nice. You can not really do some tests with a face mask on. So they told me I could remove the bottom part from my mouth so I would not fog the glass the on the equipment. It was a very good experience and my glasses were three hundred dollars less then last year! I found the cutest pairs of bargain frames. Life was good plus I had lunch with my hubby and we enjoyed the rest of our day.

Happy Tuesday and More

It is Happy Tuesday These sweet meme's always makes me smile. So I am sharing a few today.

I have another ear infection.  This little meme is so perfect.  I can be grumpy when I don't feel well. I saw the hubby's  doctor today and I love this new doctor. She listens, she cares and she gave me my Z-pack. It is the only thing I can take that will work and it is something you don't want to take all the time. They hand out too many antibiotics that do not heal and this one is a real winner! But I don't get sick again when I take it so I am happy and grateful my doctor gave it to me. It was a tough day but my appointment went well and I am happy to be on my way to feeling better.  This summer with the fires has been hard on my sinuses and allergies. Grateful the air quality is better and we will be seesawing into the 60's and 80's for the next two weeks.

I carry too much luggage when traveling. But I have never gone anyplace that I didn't have fun so I suppose everyone has their ways about them. These Princess Sassy Pants makes me smile.

These three are always the first ones out the door with Leo every day. Mollie is older by two hours and yet Finn is twice her size. Loki is the little chill guy. He is an observer.  Always surveying the situation. They enjoy lying in the sun. They are perfect for my memories of Tuesday Show and Tails.

Maxine is a sassy one. Always thinking of the silliest things. She is quite the comic.

Aw....Mondays and More

A gal I know is going to do yoga with goats. Our oldest son Jeremy loves goats. He said he should do yoga with goats. I guess while you are doing yoga goats hang out with you. I hope they do not have their little horns! Ouch! Please visit Aw...Mondays.

We worked hard in our garage this weekend. Downsizing and rearranging for the new freezer coming in two weeks. We sold a set of end tables we had that were too much for our living room. They have beveled glass and we took really great care of them. The man who got them for his wife was tickled.They have the matching coffee table and large side table. It was nice to see them happy. We are getting ready to rest tonight since I have an early doctor appointment to check my Thyroid labs.  Then more garage work but not the whole day since hubby has to work Tuesday through Friday.  Love is...shares our feelings tonight.

This kiddo turned 9 Saturday. He is his own person. Smart, unique, quiet, the oldest of 4 boys. He is such a gem. I remember being 9 and getting my glasses. He wears them well don't you think? It has been a long time since you were here:

I do know boys love video games. They grow up too and still love those video games.

Feline Friday

Feline Friday Mister Kitty is very nosy.  He escaped out the door when the hubby was warming the Jeep. .  Boy did he make a beeline back into the house. It was 30ish outside. He lives and he learns. But this female cat has been hanging around.  Nick shot her with a water spray bottle as she was creating a loud scene! This was at 2 A.M. Poor kitty, no one who cares for her. Ack........

1. I wish I Had been alive during Annie Oakley's day. She will always be my childhood hero because she had grit and determination. She was very pretty too.

2. My favorite way to have apples is sliced thin and sometime dipped in caramel dip. My mom use to bake them and I Loved the cinnamon dots she would add. Hmm....a good memory.

3. I was sad to find out that 911 happened. I was also saddened to read so many books by widows and learn more truth than I wanted to.

4. Kindness isn't rocket science.
