I want to tell you a little story about my pretty blue and white tea mug. My sweet swap buddy
Marilyn who lives right up the road from me gave this to me in the Secret Santa Soiree that
Suzanne hosted this past December 2011. I have been using this tea mug lately and it really gives me comfort. Having lost my sweet boy Boots one week ago this past Thursday I find that a steaming cup of hot tea comforts my soul and calms my spirit. I think about what charming friends I have discovered at this blog and how much each and everyone means to me. I have a little poem to share here today:
Come, my friend,
and join me
for a cup of tea.
Let's just sit a spell:
enjoy each other's company.
If life's great success
has come your way,
we'll share the news
and celebrate the day!
But, if perchance, some grief
has knocked upon your door,
I'll sit silently and listen,
nothing more.
Come join

I know exactly how you feel about Boots. BooBoo went to doggie heaven right before Christmas and I couldn't even tell anyone about it because I'd be in tears just thinking about him! I'm so glad that you were my SS and that you can find comfort drinking tea in the mug. I got one for myself, too, and really like the lid because my house kitty likes to snoop and sip!♥♫

I am so sorry to hear of Boots passing. I know you are torn up over losing him. I know the feeling. My little dog Chloe died in 2004 and I still cry when I talk about her. Sending a big hug!~Ames

Good morning Ann, I would love to share a cup of tea with you. We too have lost two darling pets and I know how sad you are. Life goes on but there is a bit of a hole in our hearts each time a dear pet has passed. Your pretty blue and white mug is a lovely gift. Enjoy!
