Christmas is Coming

I don't like not having a job! Because I just am not a wealthy person! People are always telling me, just retire! Well, it is not that easy! So I am having a hard time handling being out of work! So I indulge myself by rooting through our garage and shed. I found a box of Christmas today! I love s/p shakers! These snowmen are so cute and it made me smile to fill them up for the upcoming Christmas holiday!
I found this lil tree with a burlap base last year for 75 cents! The plaid bows were 44 cents! It looks sweet sitting in the middle of my dining table.
Oh I L O V E anything with tea! This Avon sale music box in a tea cup has a sweet lil phamily on the saucer! I remember buying it last year for a great sale price and this is the first time I am going to display it.
Princess House use to carry a beautiful Christmas line of  wonderful holiday items. This tall angel is magnificent! She is so pretty and I wish I had a better photo to share! The rotund Santa was a birthday gift from Monica who worked with me for a long time. I love all my Christmas treasures.
The design on this hand blown PH angel is a patented design exclusive to the company. She is also very lovely and my photo is not showing her beauty!
This PH Santa holds a holiday plate which looks like a peppermint candy! You can add a few treats for Santa to this plate. See Santa's friend the lil penguin hiding beneath that plate?
Trader Joe's had a great deal on wreaths and this one graces our front door. It is simple but pretty. I have such an allergy to trees so I have to have this one outdoors.
Laughing Out Loud! I sent this to my sis Mary! It's true, I am the good one! Ha Ha Ha~
Our tree is tall, 7.5 feet high. The angel is hard to photograph because she lights up. But we used 100 ornaments and thirty bows.  I am having fun being home but I would like to have an income rolling in. Life is tough and I am trying to make the best of it.

I will share more photos tomorrow. Have a great evening.

I just love all your Christmas decorations. I especially love that "Dear Santa" sign. I may have to borrow that one for my blog.

I love retirement so far. Of course, it would be much better if I still had that paycheck coming in. But I get by, and Pogo and I are doing just fine.

I don't know your age, but have you looked into reverse mortgages? If you own your house, this can really make life so much easier for you.

These may not be the greatest jobs, but the local super markets and Walmarts usually hire a lot of part timers as greeters and stockers, etc. The paychecks are tiny, but they sure do help.

Well, now I have to think about rustling up some breakfast for my little Pogo. He's been waiting patiently for me to catch up on my favorite blogs. He's such a blessing.

You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Oh, I love all your CHRISTmas decorations! A lot of ours are hard to get to. So...will be put up another year..no problem. Love your angel..(I'm nuts about Angels!) you have such a nice variety of CHRISTmas around your home! I always think those wreaths look so festive! Great that you can hang it on the outside of your door! My prayers are with you so you can find a job.

Blessings,
Gert

Hello Anne,
I like angels too and when my first one broke, I couldn't find another I liked so I ended up with a star. The star was nice but couldn't replace an angel. Anyway, the following year I found another angel and she's been on the top of the tree ever since. Thank you for your visit to Christmas Pudding and have a wonderful and Happy Christmas!

Blessings,
Sandi
