Awww...Monday/Blue Monday/Love is...

I love sharing all these fun meme's with everyone. So I am trying to catch up and so a few at a time. I hope you will join Sandee with Awww...Monday. Sandee and Michael  are the best sharing such Monday fun!
This kitten is too cute! You might get dizzy watching him go to and fro with those headphones on! what do you think he is listening to? I just wanted to share a little fun.
We had a beautiful Easter service at church today and then we had an early lunch with Zach and Rebekah at Jose O'Shea's! I felt guilty for about two minutes for not cooking a big meal at home and then I made these Easter cupcakes! They are sprinkled with colorful springtime sprinkles and you will see some blue in there too.
I had to get into the baseball swing of things with my Jeter shirt. You know the NY Yankees wear white/gray and blue! I am hoping you will visit Sally and the Blue Crew to show off your blues!

Hee Hee! Anyone who knows me well will say they have heard this before, I was raised by two wonderful parents and my father loved music. He had everything from the opera singer Caruso to the country western sound of Jim Reeves. Denver has a beautiful Opera House as well as Central City but Santa Fe, New Mexico also has a wonderful opera house with a wide range of opera to listen to! When I was younger I worked with a couple ladies that planned their vacations around the Santa Fe Opera day opening and they spent a week there watching and listening to opera while enjoying the sights of Santa Fe. One of these days I am going to go to Santa Fe to the opera and I think my hubby will like it! Here is a fun Santa Fe fact: Did you know that not only is Santa Fe the state capital of New Mexico it is the highest at 7,000 feet above sea level? I live where it is a mile high!

Have a great week and come back soon!

Santa Fe is a cool town. Being a mile high can be challenging!

Hi Anne,
I see we are both up and ready for the opening of the MLB season. (mine would be a different shirt though ;).

You look great in your baseball shirt, only I'd like it better if it said "Red Sox". haha.

So glad you had a nice Easter day. Pogo and I had a fabulous day too. I went to a couple of operas when I was much younger and enjoyed them very much. I love most all kinds of music, however the old country western is my favorite.

Today looks to be a fairly nice day so Pogo and I will go out to do a couple of errands and maybe take a ride through the park.

You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

The kitty is listening to "A Whole Lot of Shaken Going On". Never was an Opera person. Just plain old country. Have a good week.

Would you believe I grew up just 36 mi. north of Santa Fe … but never stopped to see the Opera house! I’ll go east, you go south and let’s meet in the middle!

Must admit, I’m intrigued what type of fare is featured at a restaurant called Jose O’Shea’s …. guessing Mexican w/ an Irish twist? :)

PS - Love this pix of you in your Jeter attire. Looking at your big smile, I had to grin right back!
