"U" is for Undergarments and My Hero Underdog
Welcome to Alphabe Thursday! Please stop by Jenny Matlock and check out all the understandably wonderful "U" posts! But since you are here "U" is for undergarments and my Hero Underdog.
I like the comedian Jeff Foxworthy who says he likes to browse the Victoria Secret Catalog. But he adds, Victoria does not have any Secrets! I am showing off some fun undies as well as sensible ones and even some nice winter undergarments.
Here is a little sampling of some undies. Nice "wife beaters" as my son and his generation refer to the sleeveless men's undershirt. Some nice Day of the Week undies for ladies. A pretty pink polka dot undergarment set and some sheer pink undies for the gals as well as a nice pair of Calvin Klein undergarments for the fellas. I would show you my undies but my girls would say no one wants to look at "granny panties". Ha! I saw a rather large woman today with a pair of skin tight legging shorts or "biker shorts" if you well. Her panties were riding high and you could outline those babies with a marking pen! My friend Sharon would say, "Do you not have a full length mirror?, Then honey, invest in one!" She also loves to say, to women wearing a skimpy little bra with bosoms designed for the DDD section, "Your mama shoulda told you to halter those bad girls up in a brassiere!"
If I am acting weird it is only because I have been in a horribly toxic environment lately and it has caused me to develop a sever case of Vertigo. I thought in fact, Monday night, that I was literally going to die! I could not speak and when I was able to I quickly told the hubby to remember that if I started to slur my words or could not speak to get me to the nearest emergency room. Having a shunt is no fun because with any neuro problem like this you run a higher risk of having a stroke. So before I introduce you to my old pal Underdog please pray for me!
I love Underdog and always enjoyed watching the cartoon as a child. This brings back some lovely memories for me. Check out the movie with Jim Belushi if you haven't already. It is just good old fashioned fun. Here are some photos of Underdog. I wish he could fly me away somesays!

Random Phamily Postings
I have posted some random pics of the phamily. I love my phamily. I wanted to tie them into my Spiritual Sunday post.
This what the bible says about phamily:
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
Colossians 3:20 New International Version Bible
Proverbs - Chapter 14:1
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philipp 4.6-7
This what the bible says about phamily:
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
Colossians 3:20 New International Version Bible
Proverbs - Chapter 14:1
14. The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
Titus - Chapter 2:3-5 3. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.
4. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children,
5. to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
First Timothy - Chapter 5:8 4. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children,
5. to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
8. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Proverbs Chapter 31:10-31
10. A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
11. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
13. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
14. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
15. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
16. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
18. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
19. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
21. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
26. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29. “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
30. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

I thought some appropriate bible verses would encourage you today to put your own phamily first as the bible tells us. If you can care for your own phamily just think what you can do for others!

My prayer list is incredibly long, here are some of the many I ask you to please raise up in prayer. Tom F., Gabe and Family, Debbie,Shauna,Teresa,Rita,Renee,Eddie,Ron,Yanea.
Military Men: Toby,Nick,Dan,Ben,Manny
Each week I am going to add to this list and I ask you to continue to pray for all these people. We know prayer works and God listens because again the bible tells us so.
Therefore, I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 1Ti 2:8
