Happy Tuesday

Happy Tuesday I'm late for this date. It has been so hot in the 80's and 90's. I just have a hard time finding any energy to do anything. So I putter around my house and find little projects to clear up. At least this evening, the heat has calmed awhile. Last night we were hit with heat but my sisiter-in-law and her my friend Lorna, both saw tornadoes touching down not far from where they were.

There were lots of photos of the tornadoes touching down all around  about twenty-thirty minutes North and East of us. This is am image from social media.  Fortunately Lucy and her phamily and Lorna are all safe.

This girl came to visit twice today. Once with her grandpa and grammie and once with her mom and dad. She is quite a character and twice I caught her walking without help , If you tell her you see her she will sit down. She is quite a character and this face will always make you happy.

Shea's daddy celebrated his birthday yesterday June 7th. Goodness, I remember when he was born. Like Rebekah, he took his time. Happy Birthday to an amazing grandson. Here he is from his high school  graduation with Jeremy and Brittany and Addy.

Time flies. Here we were with Colton at his graduation too.

I found a birthday card Maxine will share with you....the inside of the card says, "Too bad I can't remember what it is!" Ha Ha Ha Snarky Ms Maxine.

One of my favorite MLB catcher's Thurman Munson would have celebrated his birthday yesterday too. He perished in a plane crash at age 32 in 1979. He would have been 75 years old. I saw the Yankees play once in Anaheim California but it was in 1980. I never had the opportunity to see him play in person. Baseball was different back then. Today it is so political and  going the way of the NFL. It is a sad time for me. But I will always remember Thurman Munson and cherish the memories I have of him.

I found this Corrie ten Boom quote and it gave me great comfort during the loss of Sharon and Jessica.

Words to ponder.

I love Maxine. She's my kind of gal.

The grand is adorable. Family is such a blessing.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous day, honey. Big hugs. ♥

Yes, you've perfectly illustrated how quickly time flies. I'm not necessarily a fan of 'new' country music, but LOVE Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink" and get teary eyed every time.

Not a fan of baseball, but I remember that plane crash. Thurman Munson was a good man. Wouldn't you love to know what the old timers think of the new generation of players?

That Maxine! I'd like to know where she found all the "great things." I don't watch sports anymore on TV. I'd rather just watch reruns of my favorite old programs. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
