Feline Friday , Sunday Stealing and More

Feline Friday Here I am catching up after a day of sleet and snow and cold temps. These news people could not hit the target on the weather if they had a crystal ball! Perhaps they do, and their luck ran out on it. (Smile)

This fellow seems a bit perturbed. I understand! We thought with the mask mandates lifted we would be able to see not only our chiro doc but his wife the acupuncturist too.  Nope, they have to follow the medical association guidelines. I find it interesting as only one doctor I have known through the years had one ounce of respect for chiro doctors. If it weren't for our  original chiro doctor, who retired a few years back,  I never would have found out what  was causing my dizziness, blackouts and eventual hydrocephalus diagnosis.  Seeing our chiro doc is easy, five minutes face down with the mask on but an hour in the same position to see his wife, nope, nada, I don't think so! Very frustrating.

Ellen and Lorianne co host this fun meme. They each think up the sentences here so here we go:

1. A week without ____________would be nice.

2. A week without ____________would be impossible.

3. I didn't plan to,  .________________but I'm glad I did.

4. I once _______________and lived to regret it.

My answers:

1. A week without constant Big Pharma commercials would be nice.

2. A week without "Science" worship would be impossible.

3. I didn't plan to, have all the children we have, but I can honestly say, I would not change a thing.

4. I once road a rollercoaster after my first neurosurgery and lived to regret it.

Thank you to Bev for sharing this and I enjoyed answering these questions.  I did cut and paste as it is late. I hope that was ok to do. I have missed being in the swing of these. Thank you again BEV!

1. Would you rather be the guest or the host? The host

2. What do you like to wear when you feel fancy? I dress up everyday because I have a large wardrobe, dresses, leggings, dusters, I like to look nice even though I am retired and at home these days.

3. How often do you try something completely new? Not too often but I am not afraid to try something new.

4. Do you enjoy weddings? Always, I also like to imagine weddings like my folks had and others. My mom and dad were attendants for one of his sisters and her one daughter told me she thought my mom wore lavender or mint green. This was in the days of balck/white photos. (Smile)

5. Have you ever had something customized? A few old photos yes. My husbands baby photo was torn in pieces. I had a photographer recreate it back in the 1980's it was not cheap but so worth it. He did a wonderful job.

6. Do you cook spontaneously or meal plan? I am a fly by the seat of my pants girl. What I have on hand I cook.

7. Books you like to read over and over Anything about baseball, my oldest daughter is into celeb books so I have read a few.

8. What are you really good at? Talking and sometimes writing. I am a good grandma so I love that best of all.

9. Do you sleep with windows open or a fan on? Both in warm months. Right now we have snow and cold temps sigh...

10. What is the easiest recipe you know? Soup, potato cheese soup or Hearty Cowboy Soup, I memorized the ingredients.

11. Are you comfortable starting conversation with strangers? Yes. Once while waiting for a nail appointment I struck up a conversation with another patron. She offered me a stick of gum. My daughter Noelle was mortified, mother where did you get that gum? hahahaha

12. Do you prefer quiet, or ambient noise when you relax? Quiet. But I can fall asleep with music and or listening to my bible on tape too. It relaxes me.

13. Who is your most adventurous or exciting friend?  Our youngest daughter Hannah. She is fearless. She married and moved across the country. She was a TV dinner girl and now she cooks like a pro. She is the cutest plus she and her husband are visiting as many Nartional Parks each year as they can. They complement each other nicely.

14. What do you eat when you can’t decide what to eat? Cereal since I was a kid, I love it sometimes.

15. Do you have any funny pet stories?
Yes, lots of them, but I do sing to the dogs we have. The C A T ignores me and yawns. I guess he hates my siging. But the dogs are fascinated by my singing and/or dancing skilled. heeheeheeStealing Sunday

This is a fun questionnaire and I learned some neat things about you. I sing to my dog too and he listens, especially when I sing two songs I made up that are about him. Sometimes I read the Bible to him and he listens to that too. I think he is a Christian dog. That is funny how you accepted a stick of gum from a stranger you talked to, and your daughter 's reaction.

Potato soup is an easy recipe for me as well.

Love your question and answer. How fun. I learned a lot of new things bout you too.

There are different rules for different places. I makes no sense at all. It all should be the same.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous weekend, Anne. Love and hugs. ♥

Fun Q-and-A! I keep telling myself I'm going to participate someday, then figure 'no' ... it's so long, lots of my readers would quit half-way through. Ever notice how many folks are leaving Blogger and migrating to FB. I suspect so many folks are so busy, if something takes longer than 15 seconds to read, they tend to skip over.
Like someone else said, I enjoy learning new things about you. My fav take-away? You dressing 'up' each day. Makes me think of Mrs. Cleaver in Leave it to Beaver. When a lady enjoyed being a lady. Tom's not much in the way of giving compliments, but I wore a dress (my one and only) to church a couple weeks ago and he commented he hadn't seen me in a dress in a long time. (Hint!Hint!)

We're old so we were masks because we choose too, but if someone tells me I must, nope! Those were all good answers.

Those are fun questions to answer! Cereal is a great go-to when you just don't know what to have.

AN hour would be a long time with a mask face down. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry about the roller coaster. I am with you on #' 1 and 2. I enjoyed your answers to the other questions too. XO
