The Cozy Pastime of Reading

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 where we give you 4 questions to think about each week.
People make reading lists for the various seasons and many mention how cozy it can be to cuddle up in a favorite spot to read.

1. Do you have a list of books you'd like to read? I do! It is quite lengthy. The Chanel Sisters, The Last Twelve Miles and other older books I find at reasonable prices.

2. Where do you get ideas for books you want to read?  What kind of books catch your interest? I read Hilary Williams story.  "Signs of Life". She is the daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and nearly died in a tragic car accident. It was hard to read but so worth it. I like autobiographical books, interesting stories, anything to do with real Country music

3. What have you read lately? I read Looking For Salvation At the Dairy Queen. Different but a good story. Also I've lived Country Music by Bobby Tomberlin. A book Called Run Rose Run written by James Patterson and Dolly Parton.

4. How do you find time to read and where do you make yourself cozy and comfy to read? I like to throw a cover over my legs when the a/c/ is on. I read in bed which is easy because we have an adjustable one.
A quick little input. I have found amazing books for $1.50 at the Dollar Tree. An older gal who works there said a woman comes in a couple times a month and buys all these books and takes them to various nursing homes. They have libraries too!

Those were interesting questions and I did good on your answers.

I like the questions and answers, but for some reason on my computer I can’t read all the words of the answers, it is as if part of the words are behind the sidebar.

Oh I love little book trees. We have several in the general area where I live. I only stop at them if I happen to pass by. I'll look into the books you've mentioned you've read. I'm always adding to my to read list. I think you need to reset your margins because if you cut and pasted from Annie's Tuesday 4 meme, like I did too, the margins were wider than mine. I suspect that's why your post is cut off on the right margin.

It is me! No tech brain lol but I do change the font and half the time it changes and half the time it does not. Oh it is a crazy world. If I make the font too small I can not see it to read it! It is a never ending battle. :-)

I have no tech skills plus I get so frustrated! The last job I had, after 35 years in the medical field 8 of us shared one old used computer so that was no picnic. I did try to change the font smaller. Half the time it will change and the other half no no no! So crazy! Thank you for being here. The book about Hilary Williams the daughter of Hank Jr is excellent but I had to stop and breathe after reading so much. I had three different neurosurgery within 14 months with a brand new baby and a 10 year old. It was a tough time so I understand some of the neuro procedures. Thank goodness my older brother and his wife took our newborn son and a friend of ours helped with our 10 year old. How we survived, I know only by the grace of God. :-)

Thank you for stopping by. I might add a list of books ne of these days here but I will use my regular font. I was being in a hurry when I tried to copy and paste. But Annie does such a good job hosting. I really missed the Tiesday4. Have a blessed day. :-)
