Welcome To Pink Saturday and A Collection of Pink Shoes
Do you love shoes? If so, then you are gonna love this post! I am presenting a fine collection of beautiful pink shoes and boots for your viewing pleasure. So click on the Pink Saturday button on my right side bar after viewing this post and tell Beverly thank you for being such a great hostess and making sure we all have a "Pink" Saturday together!
How about some hot pink Jimmy Choo shoes with a nice slender heel!
Some slenderizing Skechers.
Maybe you are an Ugg boot kinda gal!
Some flowery and sexy Manolo Blanik shoes.
Hot pink Dr. Marten's.
I have shoes, lots of shoes bu I don't own any pink shoes! Even my favorite New Balance walking shoes are white and lime green! I own lime green mules! Purple dress shoes, candy apple red dress shoes. Classic black patent leather shoes. I have navy blue slicker boots for snowy/rainy days. I have lots of classic black and brown shoes. Navy mules, brown mules, white shoes, shoes with bows and ornaments and lots of heel sizes. Now I need to think about pink shoes in my wardrobe.Hmmm....I also don't own any of the high priced shoes shown here with the exception of the Skechers above. These are over the top too pricey for me!But I do buy good quality shoes. I learned the hard way buying cheap little shoes so I watch for sales and get all my faves like New Balance and Cobbies and other moderately prices leather shoes.
Don't forget, if you haven't already, get your entry to my pink petal plate giveaway. I draw at 9:00 P.M. MDT Saturday night, June 5th! Good luck!
Now that you are finished here go check out this blog. http://millefiorifavoriti.blogspot.com/ Pat is one of my favorite blogging gals and she is a native New Yorker. There is always something fun and fabulous on her blog. I remember I read her profile and wanted to join her because she sounded like such a neat lady. I recently saw a picture of her on another blog (Kevin and Amanda) because both Pat and Amanda won the LA trip from Bertolli's! Pat looks like a real super star hanging out on the West Coast. Pat you always have something fun on your blog!

FRIDAY JUNE 4, 2010 FREE DONUT DAY
Tomorrow is free donut day. You can go to your local Krispy Kreme and receive a free donut, no purchase necessary. If you go to Lamar's they will give you a free Ray's favorite glazed donut no charge and Dukin Donut will give you a free donut if you buy a beverage. Shipley Do-Nuts also participates in this free donut day giving you a free glazed donut with the purchase of any other item.
Donuts have been around since World War I. I am going to print the recipe here. Did you know that least number of donuts are sold in Denver, Colorado? Just a fun fact to share.
The Salvation Army started serving donuts and coffee to soldiers in France during WWI to make them feel more at home. It was a fund raising event and continues today. Here is the Salvation Army Dough Boy Donut Recipe:
Cream sugar and lard together, beat eggs, add evaporated milk and water. Add liquid to creamed mixture. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg in large sieve and sift into other mixture. Add enough flour to make e stiff dough. Roll and cut. Five pounds of lard are required to fry the doughnuts. Yield: approximately 250 doughnuts-
What's your favorite, a cake donut, maybe some sprinkles added to it? A glazed, a French crueller? A filled long john! The possibilities are endless. Just remember to take a nice long walk tomorrow evening after munching your donut with your favorite cuppa joe or tea!

"T" Is For Terrific Famous Faces
Welcome to Mrs.Matlock's toughest Thursday class, Alphabe Thursday! LOL! I actually am just teasing! I am going to present some famous faces that are the letter "T"! Once you look at the post please visit the teacher so you can check out all the other posts!
"T" is for Mr. "T" the gold encrusted tough guy from the old "A" Team T.V. series.
"T" is for Top Cat one of my favorite cartoon characters from my childhood and I still watch it today!
"T" is for Tim Tebow, the newest four quarterback member of the Denver Broncos football team. Tim is a top role model for the kids as he is a top rated quarterback but in addition to his tough football skills he is a true Christian.
"T" is for Tim Conway one of the funniest comedians in comedy. Tim was also such a clean cut funny man. I cherish the old Carol Burnette T.V. show where Tim often zinged Carol and Harvey Korman is an assortment of comedic skits!
"T" is for Tennessee Ernie Ford, one of the finest voices in the past years. He was a top notch performer and always appeared to be so humble and clean cut. I truly miss the golden days of entertainment.
"T" is for Tony the Tiger. Tony has graced the cereal box of Frosted Flakes since I was a small kid! Tony is T T Terrific (I mean G R E A T!).
"T" is is Taz, the Tazmanian Devil in the old Warner Brothers cartoon the "Looney Tunes". Taz was always up to taking care of his enemies in a topsy turvy sort of fashion!
"T" is for Tiny Tim. You can take your choice here. Tim of the Laugh In hall of fame in my teenage years "Tiptoeing Through The Tulips" with Miss Vickie and Tiny Tim from the beloved "Christmas Carol".
"T" is for Tigger! When my oldest daughter "Wowie" was a little girl she hated for me to break out into a song and dance and sing about The wonderful things about Tiggers! Today I can still get to her by belting out a tribute to Tigger the beloved striped cat from the "Winnie the Pooh" books.
"T" is for Tiffany's! Where can a girl go when she is feeling low? Why Tiffany's of course, to add some bling to her fingers, neck, ears and toes! After all, diamonds are a girls (wink) best friend!
"T" is for Tillie, my pretty middle girl with a tiny figure and a huge heart! I love my Tillie!
"T" is for tummies! See my pretty youngest "Who girl" with her "Foster Grant" friend Nicole showing off their belly rings!
Next, "T" is for "Ta Ta's"! If you go over to Facebook you can join the Save the Ta Ta's, a breast cancer awareness group. I tell you this because today I found out my favorite billing rep. Teresa (another "T"!) told us she was diagnosed with breast cancer! Please put this sweet lady on your prayer list and go join the Ta Ta's!
Finally "T" is for Thank you everyone for stopping by. Today manners are becoming something from the stone age and we rarely hear these words uttered, Thank You! Enjoy all the other Alphabe Thursday posts!

Ignore the time frame on this computer. It shows 9:17 P.M. MDT by the time we drew and I got situated to write this down and then for some reason the internet is moving at the pace of a snail on it's last leg! But when I save anything to edit later it date stamps it an hour earlier! Weird! I also have my winning name locked into my camera! I need a new camera! Argh..I had some cute pictures to share! Darn! But thank you to every one who participated and remember the pink petal plates will be drawn on Saturday June 5, 2010 and the 050 hand blown teapot on June 13th! Get those postcards to me to so you can be entered in the postcard giveaway! My gift box is going to be so cool that I won't draw a winner til all the USA states are accounted for and I don't mind duplicates for your state!
