Aw...Monday Blue Monday Love is... "S" is for....SONday skies

This google image from APlacetoLoveDogs.com reminds me of the hot days we have had. Keep your pets safe and cool by keeping them indoors. I am appalled at people leaving dogs in cars to run a quick errand. Their body temperature is about 20 degrees higher than the temp outdoors. It is 92 here right now at 4:32 P.M. and I would not let any of our pets stay in a hot car for one minute. These two look like they have had enough of the indoor heat!
This sweet google image made me smile. It is true, no bad days when you have these kinds of furry friends waiting for you. Tell Sandee at Aw...Monday that you stopped by to say hello.
We had a great Father's Day dinner last week at the Olive Garden. It is always a great time.  My hubby wore his Kentucky blue Wildcat hat and his blue and orange Bronco tie dyed shirt. It was a good evening.

The cliffs of Mohre. Rebekah took her trip to Ireland in April and had a wonderful time.
Rebekah loves searching for waterfalls. This one was from their camping trip 2015.
Colorado camping 2015. I am not an outdoor camper kinda girl. I like to be in hotels. But Rebekah took this photo last August when they went camping.
A SONday afternoon shot of our Colorado skies. Nick had a soccer game and we were driving back from the sports facility. The SONday skies were bright and filled with bright clouds and blue in the 90 degree temps when the weather girl said mid-80's. Making a six figure income to tell the viewers tall tails. S made perfect sense for bright skies and SONday drives. Stop by Jeanne's and share some blues today.

Some Blues and Some Other Fun

Don't you just love this intelligent lil pup? I laugh out loud whenever I see this cute image.
Another smile maker! Do you have a feline friend like this one? You should visit Aw....Monday and tell Sandee how much you appreciate her hosting Aw....Monday. Life is tough some days but you need to smile. Enjoy your week!
I thought perhaps Jeanne would like some blue decorated with a silly kitty. Mr. Kitty looks so innocent. Do not be fooled! He is very much like the cat in the middle photo here! But I still love him.

Love is...can always make me smile. We are steeped in a boiling hot spot! This hot weather is not fit for anything except cactus and tumbleweeds! I am grumpy when it gets too hot!
Ah....foot rubs are great and he will give you your sole attention! But I am a backrub kinda gal instead!
'R' is for Robinson and this one is way past her bedtime! We had a really fun filled Father's Day and enjoyed the company of our kids. I hope your day was perfect too! When Rebkah, who happens to be an R girl too was in Ireland she brought this Coat of Arms to her dad:
My cousin Kay brought me lots of great treasures from her Slovenia trip this past Summer. I would love to travel to both Ireland and Slovenia. Maybe one day...

Stop by soon and say hello to these great meme hostesses soon!

Q is for Quality Fathers/Happy Fathers Day/

Do you know that there are 5089 words starting with the letter Q in the free dictionary? I wanted a Q word to celebrate fathers for Fathers Day 2016. I came up with "quality".
I was blessed with a quality dad. My father worked for 47 years at the C F and I Steel Corp. He loved my mother and together they raised five children. We grew up in a beautiful and friendly neighborhood and were a close knit phamily.
This was my dad  Edward Joseph Kocman Sr. in 1978. He was a remarkable man. A kinder man I have never known. He loved his phamily and he loved the little ones. He was a good dad and once flew a little dog across the country from North Carolina to Colorado because my sister and her phamily lived at Fort Bragg, NC and had a neighbor who was being shipped overseas. They had a little dog and could not take her with them. My dad paid for GiGi to fly across country and she was our pet for many years. That is the type of man my dad was. All these years of missing him on Father's Day will be no different in 2016 than it was in 1985 when he passed away.
This was another quality dad. Carl Thomas Robinson. He was my hubby's dad and he too worked for the steel corporation. He was a guard and my husband is blessed to have a nice memory of him, his brass check as well as this wonderful photo. My father-in-law was orphaned at age 5 when both of his parents passed away. He had an older sister and one younger brother. He was the kindest man and welcomed me into his phamily. He is missed very much too He would being celebrating his birthday on June 20th too. Like my dad, he passed away too soon.
Our son Jeremy who recently married Brittany has a wonderful little girl in his life. Addy is 8 and she is as precious as could be. She has her dad close by but she and Jeremy get along famously and he is a good role model for her as well. Jeremy has always loved children and is in a good place in his life these days. A quality man and dad too.
My grandson Andrew is quality too. He is a sweet guy and has a beautiful little phamily, Tarrah, Jayden and Michael.  He works so hard and is a good husband and dad.
My grandson Colton is a wonderful father. Look at that baby boy! Doesn't he look well loved? My heart is bursting for all these wonderful quality dad's in my life.

The men and dad's is Noelle's life too. There is Alex, on your left with his phamily. He LOVES baseball, or rather, Colorado Rockies baseball, so there is always something to talk about! He is one of those rare "quality" kinda guys too. Raising three kids with precious Christal. Happy Father's Day to all these kind men, quiet, silly, strong and loving. We love them all very much.
Hands down, my favorite baseball and dad quote. My father would give you Harmon Killebrew's stats off the top of his head. Boy do I miss that daddy of mine of this special day.
P H A M I L Y through the years with a quality husband, dad, grand dad an great grand dad. George Avery Robinson, the love of my life and the father of my children. I love these man to the moon and back!
...And this is my Father's Day with this Phamily. We had a wonderful lunch with Jeremy, Brittany and Nick. Tonight we will enjoy a dinner with Noelle, Roger, Rebekah, Zach, Hannah and both of us. My sweetheart received several wonderful gifts. We will have lots of new memories from today. Hug the dad's in your life today. Thank you for stopping by. Linking up with Beverly at Pink Saturday and Jeanne at Blue Monday. Enjoy your week!

P is for Party and People

With my new Independent Jeweler business I had to share it here. I had planned to properly post this people and party idea to share for My BoJon Heritage and Alphabe Day. It is funny how certain topics make many people shy away from them. I posted about my excitement with becoming an Independent Jeweler with Premier Designs and boy,oh ,boy, the people headed for the hills so to speak! When you do a direct selling business like this people are afraid you are going to lock them in your house until they  buy the company or order the entire line of product. I am normally happy and easy going but I have to be very truthful. When people  do not respond to an R.S.V.P. I find they lack manners which seem to be  lacking in this society today. I appreciated the  people who honestly told me they had to decline.

I will tell you about those who supported me. My three daughters, my new daughter-in-law and my grand-girl Christal. My dear, dear friend Lorna and her friend  and  new jeweler Johnna. My daughter Hannah brought a friend Aspen and she supported me as well as she chose to book her own show, sharing the FREE jewelry with Hannah. They were the lucky ladies who won  and split the $50 FREE in jewelry for hosting their own show by popping a party popper. My grand girl Christal is not a wealthy girl. But she supported me. Meant the world to me. My girls love the jewelry and they each ordered something . Lorna and Johnna are both single working women. In fact Johnna works three different jobs trying to keep her head above water. Lorna  had to replace her car that someone else wrecked a few months ago. These are not wealthy women but they chose to support me and I in turn support them,  Three friends are reviewing the catalog and have told me they will purchase something to help me start off my business. I have always supported people in new businesses, after all people who work in this line of work are just trying to help with their phamily expenses. I also fully support people in businesses that I have known  and I won't stop supporting them. You can buy anything you want in big department stores or mega corporate giants like Target and Walmart. But you will not be supporting a struggling single mom, a grandmother helping her kids or grand kids and most of the things you buy through big business comes from China.
This company started out making their jewelry thirty plus years ago in Texas. They opened a factory in Rhode Island and they  their employees  are paid a fair wage for doing such wonderful craftsmanship such as hand beading on many of the bracelets. Their watches include Seiko timepieces. The company recently opened a factory in Malaysia but again, they are not a "sweat shop" type of employer and pay a fair wage.

I have spent many years in direct selling companies and the most successful people are those who are not pushy, respect people and truly believe in the product they are selling. The success is based on  adding new clientale to their data base. I do wish companies would allow customers to purchase their products on line. In a busy world we often don't have time to host a home show. I had great success with MaryKay because they allow their consultants to add ordering to their personal websites and customers love the ease of that option.
Then there are the folks who love hosting parties and want to sit down with a few friends and play with the jewelry and enjoy a nice evening or even a brunch with girlfriend. I truly love this product and am happy that I am able to buy their quality jewelry. I received 225 dollars in  FREE jewelry for joining the company. No one forced me, I enjoyed Kashia and her presentation. I love her enthusiasm for the product and I wanted something to fill a few hours each week to make some extra cash.
Mini cream puffs were on my menu last night along with mini brownie bites and fresh fruit. We had garden fresh salad and Caesar Salad. The evening was filled with fun and I received several pieces of FREE jewelry including a silver cuff watch I had been eyeing in the catalog. Since it was very warm outside I made fresh sweet tea, regular ice tea and  some lemonade. I found a really cute beverage server with two one gallon dispensers and they sit inside a pretty wrought iron holder. I also have a cute two gallon dispenser with wrought iron holder and the evening was filled with fun and laughter and beautiful jewelry.
Although my dispensers are clear glass they are set up very much like this google image. I decided to throw this little proposition out there, I have a goal. I want to see if I can find people across America who would be willing to purchase a piece of jewelry from me.  It is easy to view the catalog on line @ Kashia.MyPremierDesigns.com and let me know. You can pay directly by contacting me with a credit card or personal check that I deposit and send on to the company. I am asking if anyone across America would be willing to help me out. Share the news. The product arrives approximately two weeks after I place my orders and I would send your purchase on to you. I have a similar "Bucket List" where I would like to visit every major MLB park in America. If you aren't a jewelry person, perhaps you know someone who is and would enjoy a no hassle purchase.

I hope you will look around and find some jewelry loving folks to share this post with. I have often done direct selling businesses to make friends. I am always grateful to meet new folks and if I can help someone find a perfect piece of jewelry , I will be your favorite jewelry lady. You know I have never put on a price tag on people, or friendship and I am happy to help someone find a pair of earrings or a watch or bracelet or another pretty accessory.  I could talk on about this having known some highly successful Hispanic women who sell Princess House even though their friends and relatives are not wealthy enough to buy the entire line of product,  They purchase small items and work their way into very successful business enterpernaurs because they have large networks of phamily and friends all struggling to make ends meet. Every dollar counts, large or small. One final note, the PremierDesigns company supports misisonary work across the world. Thank for stopping by and thank you for sharing the letter P with me today.

O is for Anything Outdoors

A favorite baseball share. Last night, Nick went to the Colorado Rockies games against the NY Yankees. Much as I love those Yankees, the hometown team won ! Lots of local businesses give you a great deal when your hometown team wins. McDonald's will give you a free double cheeseburger if they score a double in the game the day before.
Nick took this picture of A-Rod, they had really great seats! He said the fans still boo A-Rod and the Yankee fans outnumbered the Rockies fans last night.
The Rockies really do have a beautiful stadium. Nick took some nice photos. The day was in the low 80's so it was perfect for a ballgame. We are going to get into the 90's now! Each day through Saturday we increase, 93-94-95-97! U G H ! Not a fan of those high heat days.
These are my pretty balloon flowers. Naughty, mean ole bunnies will not eat these! I guess I should fill my yard with them! Except for a pretty purple and white lily those mean bunnies have left anything purple alone!
Those bratty bunnies have not found this Asiatic pink lily. But I don't trust those critters, they remind of politicians, taking from the working bees and handing it over to the greedy corporations!
This hibiscus was left for dead at the store. I bought it on a lark, plucked the dead leaves and it has been a happy camper! My lupines and Colorado Columbines don't seem to be faring as well. They have a nice area where they get sun and shade throughout the day. I have five rose bushes and am praying they will do well. My Teasing Georgia is an ultra fragrant rose and she looked a little miserable the first week she was here. Now she is standing tall and blooming in the heat of the day. My Betty Boop looks a bit sad like Striking It rich but they are newer and still need to adjust. Apricot Princess roses and Astounding Glory are well on their way to having a hearty summer here.
The photos are my own except for this google image. I thought it put a good perspective on my post today.  I decided O was outdoors since I spend lots of gardening time. We only have tomatoes right now but as we get the backyard into shape we are going to add more garden delights  Have a great day and visit a few friends here in blogworld. I miss so many that went the way of social media.

N is for Nephogram

September 30, 2015. Dark clouds in an evening sky.
Undated photo of clouds drifting away.
Fluffy clouds in Ark City, Kansas. The sky was brilliant blue and so clear.
October 2011, blue skies and clouds on the road to Gunnison.

Did you know that photography of clouds  it is called Nephogram? I thought that would be the perfect word for the letter N today. The clouds on March 16, 2016 were dark and silvery.

This is a billboard in my neighborhood. This church is saying what I see see happening.  This verse is from Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil." I read, in regarding to the horrific scene in Kalamazoo, Michigan that many say bicyclists need to obey the rules of the road. Well this is very true, in the case of nine bicyclists who were deliberately run down and five of those people died, the rules of the road had nothing to do with this terrible crime.

In Romans 12:2 it says "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

I try to keep  my heart and mind set on Christ. I am fearful of the things of this world. I have prayed for Michigan and now I am praying for Florida as well. This is a time and place to air your  opinions but these tragedies are not the time. We need to respect the families of loved ones lost and respect those who were injured. I am always reminded of my dear dad, who often said, be thankful God is your judge.
