MOOSE
It is hard not to think about Christmas so I want to talk for a moment about another favorite holiday animal! The Moose. Do you remember "Bullwinkle and Rocky"? Bullwinkle was the moose and Rocky his faithful squirrel friend. It was a wonderful childhood memory because it was a cartoon show I rarely missed.
But I like the live version of Bullwinkle too. This magnificent creature always reminds me of the faithfulness of God because this is such an unusual animal. The moose is the largest extant of the deer family. This magnificent creature is noted for the palmate antlers the male wears. Moose eat a diet of fruits and vegetables and they are very good swimmers and can wade into the water to retrieve plants for munching!
I just wanted to share this with you today for Tuesday's Show and Tail!I hope you enjoyed it and you will visit Angela and all the participates in this weekly fun meme!
Have a blessed and happy New Year!
I hope you enjoy the google images too.

Oh I loved Bullwinkle and Rocky, my kids never missed it either. lol..I always said they were watching it, but I did too.
I think a Moose is one of the most magnificent animals God has created.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Love the moose picture! Thanks for sharing!
I did love Bullwinkle and Rocky. And Natasha and Bourus. My fave character was Rocky... as a child I was amazed that he could fly.
I love the photo of the real thing. What a majestic animal.
Blessings~

One of our chickens is named Natasha after the villianess in Rocky and Bullwinkle. Not that she's a mean chicken - she just looks creepy.
I always enjoyed Rocky and Bullwinkle. The narrator had such a soothing, appealing voice.
I've had the fortune to canoe near a live moose (but not toooo close!) and watch it munch away until it decided to run away in huge splashing leaps.
I love Moose! They are indeed most unusual and beautiful. We went on a moose watch in Maine several years ago and I will never forget the thrill of seeing these animals in person and close-up as they munched at the "salad bar" as the guide called their meadow. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm your newest follower! Ann
I love moose too! They're amazing animals...so big and powerful...Happy New Year to you and your family.
I do remember seeing that cartoon when I was a kid at times. Many years ago we did see a real Moose at a park when we were in California on a trip. I just can't imagine seeing them on a regular basis! They are very BIG!
