Pink Saturday: A 9-11 Remembrance, Spiritual Sunday: A Message from Our Father

I wanted to share some spectacular photos I borrowed from a daily news that features astronomy. I call the first photo a pink wavy space scene but the second photo is a pink milky way band. I wanted to continue my pink post with Beverly but I also wanted to remember the 9-11 survivors and the families of all who lost their lives.
I wanted to share a poem, I thought it very appropriate for 9-11 in remembrance of all the fallen and a glimpse into heaven for all that survived. One day we can all join together on God's shore and experience happiness and such an incredible peace. It is a beautiful thought to think while revisiting the ten year anniversary of such a terrible loss of life. But currently I am still waiting for the authors permission to use the poem.
Never forget and pray for those who lost loved ones, those that survived and all the firefighters, the police and our military and protectors and all who helped in the efforts after 9-11-2001.
I hope you will visit Charlotte and Ginger because they do an amazing job getting us all together for Spiritual Sunday each week. This is a wonderful encouragement and with the anniversary of 9-11 falling on Sunday this year I think it is good to tie Pink Saturday and Spiritual Sunday together.
Please read Psalm 91 and you will have a vivid picture of Our Heavenly Father.
This song says it all. Thanks for joining me today.
Nick ran his first cross country race today. Out of 26 schools with at least a 7 man team he took 34th. Not bad for a kid coming off shingles last weekend. Pray hard for him because he still has some healing to do.
It is a weekend for new life. My grandson Andrew and Tarrah are waiting for the birth of their first child, a boy, as we speak here in Denver as well as my nephew Josh and his wife Kathryn who has already endured 36 hours of induced labor in Chicago waiting for their first child, a girl, to be born. More prayers please. They were both due on the same day and are a few days early! Hurry babies, hurry!

Such a sad time in our nation but we should never forget their sacrifice and all our military since then to keep us safe.

Your picture is a reminder that He is still in control of the world..even when terrible things happen...things that are so hard to understand why....why all those people had to suffer and die in such a brutal way...

I look at those photos and think of the lives who went to be with HIM that day. Was it beautiful like your photos? I hope so. We can never forgot and always need prayers so God continues to bless America. Good for your son! Incredible after having shingles last weekend. A baby is God's answer that the world should go on...how wonderful that two precious new children will be born, or are being born as I type.

Blessings,
Lynn

Anne, this is a lovely and spiritual piece. I wish those new babies to grow up in a country where we are not driven by greed and power to succeed. There are so many wealthy politicians who claim to be Christians, but who seem to have forgotten Christ's words that "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Thanks you for stopping by to say
"hi" Remembering those who died and suffered on 9-11 and today we still have young men and women risking their lives for something that happened ten years ago. God Bless them all

Hello Anne
Happy PS and thank you so very much for commenting on my posts. It's nice to meet you.
I couldn't open the song ; (
I'm in Canada, and sometimes we have restrictions.
I'm siting here thinking like I have been all day long. Ten years ago at this time living in Scottsdale, AZ. going to bed like any other evening, thinking all was right... till morning when the phone rang. My gf yelled " Claudie get out of bed, go pick up the kids at school".
WHAT??????? and "a change was comin' on".
I will never forget, ever. That rocked our family's world. We ended up leaving the U.S.A. and coming back to Canada to safer ground.
I hope tomorrow morning will be peaceful.
Love Claudie
