Aw...Mondays I found these ornery photos of Mister Kitty. They are from seven years ago today. He was a little sneaky feline furiously getting into mischief.
When he first came to stay we gave him the run of the bathroom when he was going to be alone. It sure did not stop him from making trouble. But he was so cute I had to forgive him.
With temperatures soaring close to 100 this week Love is....sure has the right idea. It is hard to get any work down. The hubby has a birthday on the 23rd and here are my early gifts for him:
He loves windmills and I found this canvas for him. It is perfect. But then he loves the true windmills so:
This isn't a great screen shot but once we set the windmill up I will take a better photo. He has wanted one for a long time so now he has one. It is 8 feet tall. I am excited for us to get it set up.
Hannah had a birthday barbecue and they sent some photos to us. They live in the country so they were able to have their own fireworks. We saw a few videos. They were beautiful.
We saw lots of fireworks in our neighborhood. The big displays were beautiful. It's very sad the city cancelled their show as I doubt there will ever be anymore in the future. I think the left has won and America is finished regardless of the outcome of November's election. I really don't understand people who want to live under communism especially when millions escaped it to live in freedom here. I will always love America even if it is only in memories. Peoplehave their mind on the virus, it is the very least of anyone's troubles. Living under government control will be difficult. But it will be what it is until Christ returns. That is where my hope lies and only in Christ. I want to be in the presence of those I loved who went before me. Nothing on this earth matters.

Mister Kitty is a handsome kitty. I know we let them get away with a lot, but right now I would be protecting the toilet paper. It was hard to come by for a long time.
It's hot here too, but not 100 degrees. That was last week.
We didn't see any fireworks, but we heard a lot of them. I love the professionally done ones, but the neighborhood ones don't rock my boat anymore.
I love windmills too. Pretty.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, my friend. Big hug. ♥
Yes, you sure couldn't be mad at that adorable Mr. Kitty! That windmill is pretty darn cool and so is that print. Have a super Monday evening!
Mister Kitty is a cutie. I don't know why so many are ruining everything with riots and tearing down statues, so sad. XO
Mr. Kitty is certainly precious if full of mischief.
Love the windmills, i hope your husband enjoys them thoroughly.
You have the right attitude, our first calling is to love The Lord and our neighbor, and to do it even if the government takes over and makes us all but slaves. We are to pray for the peace of where we live, but remember that it is only a place we sojourn, not our final home.
Anne,
It's warm here in East Tennessee but not as hot as it is in your neck of the woods. DH's bday is the day after your hubby's. How cool is that? We heard fireworks going off in our neighborhood but I never saw any. We watched bites and pieces of A Capitol 4th but every now little bit someone would have a Black Lives Matter logo somewhere in the scene so we flipped the channel. It wasn't nearly as good as past shows and like you said it'll probably never be the same again despite the outcome in November. The evil ones of this country are burying their heads in the sand pretty deep so-to-speak and it won't be easy to unroot the mess. What a shame! I was thinking the other day, I'm so glad DH's parents aren't alive to see this nightmare playing out. My MIL would worry herself to death thinking about all her children and grandchildren dealing with all of this junk. One day, we'll be on the golden shores with our loved ones. Things of this world are temporary. Like you, my sight is on heaven! Let's keep those prayers going because I do believe if God hears our pleas then like the wind this will blow away for a time and America will be a good place again. Thanks for stopping by to boogie with me. I hope the hubby has a great birthday! Hugs to you!
Aw, those baby pix of Mr. Kitty make me smile. My pups once did the same thing with toilet paper … all's I could do was laugh. Can't put into words, but I'm loving that windmill canvas so much! That rustic, gray aura reminds me of the West Texas I left behind so long ago. Did you find it on-line; and if so, would you PM me the link? Thanks and hugs!
Mr. Kitty is so precious. As for the country, unless we all fight for it, we won't deserve it. I'm not giving up hope. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
