A triple Love is...treat. I miss my friend MD who blogged for many years and shared her favorite Love is...with us. She and her hubby are dealing with some health issues that are very serious. They would appreciate prayer.
RaeAnn Thayne is an author I know from reading her books. She shared this childhood tragedy. It seriously made me chuckle out loud and brought back so many memories.
These were my favorite days and nights of summer. I don't think we will get these times back ever again and it makes me a bit sad.
I speak my mind most of the time, but I also keep my heart toward heaven and my eyes on Jesus. I own nothing to the world except to pay my taxes. My father taught me that. Along with honesty is always the best policy. Someone recently asked this questions, if you could trade places with one person for 24 hours, who would you choose? My answer was John the Baptist. He is in heaven now but I admire his courage and how he spoke out when he lived on earth. But if I traded places with him for 24 hours, I would be able to visit all my loved ones who went before me. That would be amazing. It made me smile to think about it.
I am going to head over to my other blog as I am trying to keep them up. They make me happy because there is a small amount of wonderful people who visit me and they are so appreciated. When I first started blogging in 2009 people I started to met said go to this blog or that blog and with the exception of my dear friend Linda in Kansas, all the blogs they told me to visit where huge with advertisements and fancy houses with fancy cars and things and they were not friendly people folks. I started deleting them from my list and found the cozy blogs were where I needed to be. With people who might not be exactly like me (how boring would that be?) but we had similar interests and loved our phamily and our pets and other things. I am proud that the same people are still stopping by to say hey or hi or hello today. I like cozy friendships. They are real and they are inspiring to me. As for Linda, she is busy with her farm and she is not blogging as she once did, but her faith and friendship have me tied closely to her and I treasurer her as well as all of you. Thank you for the friendships. Stop by the other blog when you can too.

Every time I see a picture of our Little Bit I smile. We sure miss her too. They all have such wonderful personalities. So precious.
I hope your summer fun returns. I know some of these teams are making political statements and they should. They are football or baseball, not politics. I will never attend another game.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug. ♥
What beautiful doggies. I do hope that you get to enjoy more baseball games. I won't be watching it though because I do not appreciate the politics involved now. Besides, I've got my old re-runs to enjoy now. My grandson Kevin plays baseball but it's too hot outside for me to go watch. I'd love to but it's hard to breathe in this heat. Where do you get all the energy to keep up with two blogs? I admire you for that. One is all that I can handle. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Ooh, my heart gets all wiggly and thrilled when I hear from someone that they love Jesus! I appreciate your post a LOT! It is sad that our dear pets typically have shorter lives than us. I am sure we will see them, along with our other family members, once we get to heaven. What a joyous time that will be! Thanks again for sharing your heart.
I am sorry Layla left you so quickly. That is a sweet photo. I remember the cassettes unwinding and sticking a pencil in to try to wind it back up which worked temporarily until it unwound again and the tape broke. Great memories :) XO
Those sweet doggies, I'm sure they are very missed. Those cassette tapes were sure problems sometims!
Aaargh on those cassette tapes. Truth! Love what you said about John the Baptist. Wise woman, my friend!
Love the picture of the two pups and the black dog looks a lot like I do for a! I do remember those tapes. I can't think of anybody that I would want to trade places with now if you ask me if there's anybody I would like to trade bodies with and keep it instead of mine that I could come up with quite a few. I feel the same way you do about post and blogs I have my cozy friends and they make me happy
Hi There, I always enjoy reading your blog posts --and I enjoy seeing the pictures of you and your Sweetie.... You are right... We won't get to go to many sports events this year --and who knows when... Sad!
I have always enjoyed sports especially baseball and football. BUT--I will admit that I'm disgusted with the way some of those players act about our country... They make huge salaries from US ---and then they want to destroy this fabulous country... Grrrrrr.
We do miss our pets, don't we? They are members of the family!!!!! Some people don't understand that... I loved my Duchess --and still have such marvelous memories...She was a Cocker Spaniel...
I enjoy our LOVE IS quotes.....
Have an awesome week.
Hugs,
Betsy
SO sweet! I know you miss that sweet face! I would like to visit my loved ones in Heaven too! I have been cleaning out and running across pictures that trigger memories of my Mama and Daddy from long ago. Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
Such precious memories.
You are right that we only owe the world to pay to Caesar what is Caesar's.
Howdy Anne!
Those "Love is..." comics are so sweet and cheery! Oh, what a nightmare to get a cassette or 8-track tape bunched up. There were a few times when this happened I couldn't do anything but toss the stupid thing in the trash. lol Digital mewsic is so much easier to deal with. You know I don't think there is a single person I'd want to trade lives with even if it's only 24-hours. I'm sure whatever ideas I have about that person's world I am totally wrong and would soon be proved right, so I think I'd rather just always romantically wonder what if instead. I'm with you on cozy blog neighbors being the best kind. I'm trying to recall the bloggers at the beginning are still plunging along in Blogosphere and honestly the only ones I can think of at the time are two the gals I co-host Monday's Mewsic Move Me with. The other gal I think has been blogging just as long but it was a few years into it that I met her and then she came aboard as a co-hostess. Things are really off this year but I hope enjoying summer days and nights again will be apart of our future. I think we're all looking forward to next year filled with bright promises of better tomorrows. Thanks for visiting, my dear. I hope you have a awwwesome day!
