HELLO AUGUST

I was taking a short mini break. Preparing for the new month. 14 days until our little actual mini vacation. July flew by.  August is filled with birthdays and anniversaries and dog days of summer. We had a break today from the 90 degree temps. 84 was a nice change.
My state is Colorado became a state on August 1, 1876. It is 143 years old today. I don't see the fanfare we use to have, Someone is always offended by something. Grow up or live elsewhere. It is a shame our history is being distorted by those who do not like what hear if they hear it at all. Anyway I love my state and enjoyed remembering the importance it once held.
Lots to celebrate this month. Many bittersweet memories from many loved ones gone from this life. But happy times too to celebrate those here and all he memories still to come.
Visit Thankful Thursday and tell Brian and those participating what you are thankful for. As for me:
1) Relatively good health
2) A happy life
3) Love for those around me
I love this Scripture and the google image reminds me that Autumn is not that far away. Time goes by quickly. Enjoy it while you can.
Tiny boy Logan holding on to Papa Roger's finger. He is small but mighty. A little living miracle growing stronger each day. He is back to his birth weight. God is good.

There are so many things to be thankful for. One just needs to look around them.

Great news on baby Logan. The best news.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, honey and enjoy your break. Big hug. ♥

Happy Colorado Day! There is so much that I am thankful for that it is hard to count it all. But waking up to a new morning every day tops the list. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Thank God for your tiny warrior's spirit! That black/white meme is so profound. I'm printing and clipping it now.

If we don't 'yak' before then, have a WONDER-full time on your mini break!
