Help:My Photos Are Locked in My Digital Camera
I took some excellent photos of my classmates from the 1970s last night at the mixer and they are locked inside the hard drive of my digital camera. It is a Kodak Easy Share camera and I tried to release them by adding them with the power cord to my computer. No luck! I am going crazy! Any ideas!? They are not on the chip. I already emptied the pics we took today that my 19 year old daughter Who Girl did. She released those photos and I will share tomorrow. I really am unhappy! :(

Let me work on it Anne. Do you actually see them on the hard drive? Are you certain the camera was functioning when you took them?
Do you mean the harddrive of the camera or the computer? If it's still on the camera, but not on the chip...hmm..make sure your camera is turned on, plus the cord into the camaera, then the computer..Open up Kodak EasyShare program on your desktop...click on
tools...then click on cameras/viewers...then click on synchronize and transfer..Try that and see if it works. That's how I get my photos onto my computer, then the blog...
Otherwise, all of my Kodak EasyShare photos I can also find here...click on the start button to bring up the programs menu...then click on computer...YOu'llsee the links on the left...with the icons of the different drives on the right...click on the link on the left hand side that said "Public"..at that point you should see a list of all sorts of "public docs, music, downloads tetc..." ON that right hand side, click on "Public Pictures", I also find all my Kodak EasyShare photos there too.
Try the first option, if that doesn't work try the second one. Let me know either way if that helps or not!!! Love you to bits..I had a siilar probnlem with my camera !!!!
Hugs, Heather :)
I'll pray you figure it out with the camera. I was under the impression with the Kodak EasyShare cameras..you have to have a chip in order to save the photos!!! Butt hsoe two tips that I gave you, hopefully they'll work...since you didn't lose the photos...they're still on your camera...It's just a matter of downloading them to your computer and then uploading to your blog. The blessings is that they're not deleted. I've done that before...in my case, I accidentally deleted a whole bunch of photos off of Kodak Easy share on my computer..and thank God I still had the memory chip, I had to relead everything. Took forever,...but at least they were there!!! Love and hugs, Heather :)
I was gonna suggest transferring the pictures to your memory card. I don't understand how your pictures can be locked on the camera's internal memory though?! That's really odd.
I love all of you trying to help me! I am working on it now so I will keep you posted! Blessings to all three of you for your friendship and kindness for a crazy looney like me! Anne
wish i could help, but i just started learning our digital camera. hope you get this resolved.
I hope you get it all worked out! I wish I could help but I have no idea of what to do. I have a Samsung digital camera.

I'm glad you got your problem sort of fixed. I wonder why your PC isn't liking that camera...?
