Cotton Candy
Good Pink Saturday to you! I had a hard time deciding what what to do for Pink Saturday and I started to think about the fun times we had when our kids were smaller and attended a local parochial school. Our oldest son volunteered us one summer to work the cotton candy booth and my hubby ended up with a swollen hand from turning the cotton candy! We loved the smell of money that summer because all the money we handled smelled like sweet and sticky cotton candy and we were top sellers for the annual school bazaar. Everyone loved the cotton candy we sold at that booth along with the cold and sweet snow cones. The snow cone machine was old fashioned and you had to bring the hammer down to crush the ice. We got quite a work out that summer! It is a nice memory we will always cherish. Pink cotton candy and cherry snow cones,

I love cotton candy, thanks for sharing.
Snow cones were a treat for us when we were kids, and my grandkids think they are a treat still a treat today. I always had cherry back then, but today, I'd have a hard time picking from all the new flavors they have come out with....I'd probably still pick CHERRY!
Hi sweet girl..oooh I LOVE both..I dont even know where you buy snow cones now except for the fair..did you have that frosty snow cone machine when you were a little girl..you turned the handle for crushed ice. only a KID would work that hard for crushed ice!

Oh, my goodness..what memories this has stirred for me. My, how I used to love a good sno-kone and some cotton candy. As I got older though it changed to funnel cakes..LOL OMG, those things are so darn good.

What a great memory! I used to make the dough rosette thingies with powdered sugar, can't think of what they're called at the moment, with my youth group each year at the church's country fair, and it is a great memory for me, your post brought it back to me! Happy PS! and thanks for entering my giveaway! You're in the pot to be a winner! Suzie

love cotton candy, so pretty. Not so much to eat, but cotton candy pink is so pretty. I painted my girls' room that color, and I have half a wall in the family room that color as well. I put pics on my blog. The post is called Drumbeat!
